Merry Christmas Eve, everyone!! Can you believe that Christmas is here and the year is almost over? I surely can’t! It seems like Christmas gets here quicker every year. So, one of my favorite parts of the holidays, or any long weekend really, is just getting to relax and sit around the house in my comfy-cozy loungewear. Five whole days without having to get dressed up for work! Yes. Please. Not to mention, I finally get to stay home and enjoy all my Christmas decorations and some good ole hot cocoa (topped with the cutest snowflake marshmallows from Target)!
This is our first married Christmas + our first Christmas in our new house, so this year, we’re having everyone come to us! That’s right. Absolutely NO traveling for us this Christmas. Which, to be honest, I’m a little sad about. This is my first time to not be in my childhood home for Christmas. But then again, not having to spend hours in the car with two hyper dogs is pretty sweet. Kevin’s parents are here, and mine will be here tomorrow. It’ll be a full house for sure, but we are SO excited to have everyone under the same roof cooking the best food, playing board games, laughing ’til we cry, and just enjoying each other’s company. After all, there is NOTHING better, in my opinion, than family time at Christmas.
Wrigley and I wanted to share just a few of our favorite items to lounge around in this holiday season, starting with these adorable thermal leggings (these exact ones are sold out, but I’ve linked similar ones here). I mean, how cute are the cacti with the Santa hats?! I got these on Black Friday this year and have worn them numerous times. It’s starting to look like I don’t own any other pants because I wear them that much. No shame.
I’m also loving this super simple long-sleeve v-neck tee. It’s so versatile and comfy, perfect for wearing around the house. You can also throw it on with a pair of jeans, a scarf, and your favorite leather jacket to make it acceptable to leave the house in 😉 I love things that can be worn multiple ways.
Pro Tip: Most of the time when I shop, I won’t buy unless I can wear it at least two or three different ways. This really increases your outfit options and lets you get the most value out of your clothes!
Next on my list of favorite cozy things are these super amazing, warm, and just plain adorable UGG bootie slippers. These were an early Christmas gift from my grandmother. They are SO comfy and I pretty much haven’t taken them off since I got them. What makes them even better is they’re water resistant, so they’re easy to keep clean. Thanks Mama Ann!
Do you have any exciting plans for the Holidays? Any special Christmas traditions? I’d love to hear all about them in the comments section! I hope you all have the merriest Christmas yet with family and friends and that you also use this time to relax and recharge before the new year. Thanks so much for stopping by and MERRY CHRISTMAS!
