Hey there, friends! Can you believe another month has already come and gone? 2018 is flying by, but I’m not complaining. The sooner May gets here, the better 😉 March is one of those weird months where the weather really isn’t sure what it’s going to do from one day to the next, and you just kind of stand in your closet staring off into space. And then you’re late to wherever you were going. For me, it goes a little something like this: “Ok. What am I going to wear? Is that too bright for this time of year? Is that too dark? If I wear this, am I going to be freezing by the end of the day? If I wear that, am I going to be burning up by lunch?” Ugh. It’s really hard haha. For me, if I’m not going anywhere that has some type of dress code, I’m probably wearing jeans and a tee, or some type of athleisure. But if you are wanting to wear an actual outfit, it can be a super frustrating process this time of year. It’s really all about the layers. So today, I’m going to show you some ways to transition your wardrobe into warmer temps!
I recently got this romper from Vici and I can already tell it’s going to be one of my favorite items for spring and summer! Y’all know how I love versatile pieces, and this is definitely one of those. It has these cute little patch pockets on front, and I mean, what girl doesn’t like pockets. I will say it’s kind of wrinkly, so I apologize in advance for that. But otherwise, it’s really cute and comfy! Below I’ve styled it three ways to give you some ideas on how to transition your wardrobe in this confusing weather.
Outfit Details:Romper | Printed Tee (similar) | Booties | Backpack (similar) | Hat (similar)
First, I paired it with this cute printed long sleeve tee underneath for the slightly cooler days where you want a sleeve. I also paired it with my favorite booties from this past fall/winter season, so good news boot lovers, you don’t have to put them up just yet! Don’t forget your accessories! I adore a good backpack purse, so that’s what I chose to use for all of these outfits. Top it off with your favorite hat, and you’re ready to go!
Outfit Details:Romper | Cardigan | Wrap Espadrilles (similar)| Backpack (similar) | Hat (similar)
Next, I layered it with a lightweight cardigan. I love the look of an oversized cardigan with a dress or romper like this one. It’s so effortless, but still cute and you’ll definitely stay warm if the weather decides to have a mood swing. And can we talk about these espadrilles for a second? I’m going to tell you right now, you’re probably going to be seeing all the espadrilles on my posts this spring and summer. They just scream spring, and they come in so many varieties now. The mules are probably my favorite right now, but these taupe ankle wrap ones are a close second. I mean, they go with literally everything. (PS these come in black as well, and both are $10 right now!) You can also find a similar pair in this post!
Outfit Details:Romper | Tee | Wrap Espadrilles (similar)| Backpack (similar) | Sunglasses | Neck Scarf (similar)
This last outfit is probably my favorite. It’s really similar to the first, but I chose a short sleeve tee, which is perfect for full-on spring temperatures. I really love the accessories that I chose for this look, especially the neck scarf. I think it gives it just the right finishing touch, plus its so trendy. You can’t forget your sunnies! I just got these that I have on here from Quay. Quay is by far my favorite sunglasses brand lately. I think it’s because they fit so comfortably, and I can always find frames with a flattering shape for my face.
Hopefully these looks help to inspire you as you start transitioning into spring time! Which look is your favorite? How do you transition into warm weather? I’d love to hear from you in the comments below! As always, thanks for stopping by!

Taking Risks + Dealing with Change – Style Worthy
[…] Getting good sleep is hard, and allergies become our worst enemy. And as I talked about in Tuesday’s post, even getting dressed becomes […]

I own one romper but dealing with using the restroom when I’m out is a pain because my one romper has buttons on the back and that’s the only way to put it on and take it off. Maybe I’ll try to find one with a side zipper? hahaha also I never really considered styling rompers with a shirt underneath so that’s cute!

megisacatI feel ya girl haha. This one is great because it doesn’t have any buttons or zippers, it’s really loose fitting and you can just kind of slide it off your shoulders! It’s super comfy ☺️
