For the last couple of years I’d really noticed that my teeth had not been where I wanted them to be. They looked, not quite yellow, but dull in pictures and I just was not confident in my smile. The Smile Brilliant Whitening Process
The process has been so seamless and worth every second. So the whitening process is done by using custom fitted trays, and I truly believe this is a major key in getting the allover whitening you desire. In your package you’ll receive the items you need to make impressions, whitening gel, desensitizing gel (if you choose), a prepaid label, and all the instructions you could need.
Make your Impressions
When you receive your kit, you’ll get the items you need to make your own impressions plus super easy-to-follow instructions on how to do so. Once you’ve made your impressions, you’ll place them in your prepaid mailer that’s included in your package and send them off so your trays can be made. In less than a week, I received my whitening trays (which fit perfectly) and was ready to start whitening!
Start Whitening!
I always whiten my teeth at night before bed because it’s important to not be tempted to introduce any food or drinks after the whitening process. I’ll do this while getting ready for bed, showering, or just hanging out catching up on my tv shows.
Before I begin, I brush my teeth with water only. Then I place a strip of the whitening gel on the top and bottom trays. How long you leave them in depends on your teeth, really. If you have super sensitive teeth, I highly recommend starting out with a 30 minute treatment and gradually increasing the length of time each night. What works best for me personally is to do 45 minute-1 hour treatments every other night.
After whitening, I rinse out my trays, brush my teeth like normal, and then apply a thin strip of desensitizing gel to the top and bottom trays. I leave these in for about 20 minutes. The desensitizing gel is the game changer for me. It basically allows the tiny holes in your teeth to close faster after whitening so as to prevent any pain from sensitivity.
My Results from Whitening Sensitive Teeth with Smile Brilliant
I am so pleasantly surprised! I just knew that my teeth were going to be SO sensitive afterwards and I was really afraid to even start. But I was so wrong. My teeth are no more sensitive than normal and after just three uses, I could tell such a major difference in my smile. Now I am about 10 treatments in and still have about that many left to go!
