5 of My Favorite Purchases for Fall
This Cozy Cardigan
Alright, you guys know I love my cardigans. This one caught my eye because of the gorgeous green color and the chunky knit fabric. It is just as soft and amazing as it looks and I will be wearing this bad boy through winter because it’s pretty warm. It is from Asos, but sadly this color is sold out on their site, so I’ll be linking the same one in grey + several similar ones for you to shop. I’m wearing a size 4 in this one.
Why You Need All the Cardigans
There’s really nothing better than cozying up in an oversized cardigan on a chilly fall day. Besides the fact that it’s beyond cozy, it’s one of those pieces that you can wear so many ways. (thinking about doing a how to style post with this cardigan too!) I love it with jeans but it can also be so cute paired with a skirt and OTK boots or dressed down with your fav leggings.
Favorite places to shop for cardigans: Asos, Urban Outfitters, & Nordstrom
These Wide Leg Jeans
Up until I bought these jeans, I really wasn’t sure how I felt about wide leg jeans. I’m very much a skinny leg/boyfriend fit type girl. But these changed my mind in a hurry. I found these at American Eagle (their denim is hard to beat) and fell in love as soon as I but them on. They have a hight waist, which I love, and they’re so flattering especially if you have hips. They are amazingly comfy too! These come in a few different washes and are budget friendly. I’m wearing a size 6 Regular. They started out a little snug, but have loosened up just enough.
Why You Need Wide Leg Jeans
Like I said, they’re SO flattering. The cropped leg makes these great for pretty much any season. These jeans are super fun to dress up or down. I like to pair these with my white slip on sneakers or ankle and calf booties when it cools off.

These Sock Booties
I know, y’all have seen these boots so many times by now, but they are that good. They go with absolutely everything from jeans and leggings, to dresses and skirts. They come in several colors and patterns, but I chose this nude color because I knew how versatile it would be. I am so into the sock bootie this year too! I’m wearing a size 8 in these and they fit like a glove.
Why You Need a Quality Pair of Boot/Booties
Who doesn’t need a good pair of boots? Like I said, they go with EVERYTHING. If they’re a good quality boot, they’re going to cost a little more, but they will last so much longer than cheaper ones. I feel like these are such a classic style with the pointed toe and taller shaft.

This Stiff Brim Hat
This hat is another item that you have seen a lot of and probably will continue to see. It came from Target, so it was SUPER affordable, just over $20, and I think it’s amazing quality. The brim is stiff so it doesn’t flop down at all, which I love. It is by far my favorite fall/winter accessory.
Why You Need A Good Hat
Fall accessories are the best accessories. In the south, it doesn’t always get cold enough to need a scarf, so I think adding a hat to your outfit is a great way to give it a little something extra. Plus, if you’re having a bad hair day, nobody will every know 😉

This Quilted Crossbody Bag
I am super picky when it comes to bags. I just don’t like to spend a ton of money on them (because quite honestly they get on my nerves and would rather do without) and I will not buy it if I’m not in love with it or if I can’t wear it with pretty much everything. I had been needing a new black bag and when I came across this one at Target, it was hard to pass up. It’s way affordable (just under $30) and I thought the quilted design was so cute and great for fall and winter.
Why You Need A Crossbody
Crossbody bags in general are my go-to, other than backpacks. They’re super easy to sling over your neck and not have to worry about lugging it around. They tend to come in smaller sizes which is great if you tend to load your bag down with unnecessary items, making it too heavy.
