Happy First Day of Spring!
Alright friends, we’ve made it! It’s officially the first day of Spring! Isn’t is crazy how we’re always waiting and wishing for the next season? Whether it’s related to climate or life? Most of the year I am personally dying for fall/winter, but at a certain point, I do get tired of having to bundle up just to take the dogs out, ya know what I mean? But one thing I’m really trying to work on this year is to not wish my life, or the season, away. Nonetheless, Spring is here now, and in honor of the highly anticipated season, I thought I would share one of my all-time favorite spring pieces: the midi skirt! There are so many fun ways to style them + you know I love versatility in my wardrobe. Not only that, but I just think midi skirts are a classic closet staple. One of those things that never really goes out of style. So today, I’ll be showing you different ways to style a classic midi skirt for Spring!

The Dressed Down Midi Skirt

When we think of midi skirts, I think most of us picture a dressy outfit for church or the office. I know I used to! Then one day, I decided to throw on a pair of white sneakers with it and my life was changed haha. My new favorite look for spring is a casually styled midi skirt! I love to pair it with a simple graphic tee, denim or leather jacket, and a pair of sneakers. Particularly white sneakers. This outfit is perfect for all things spring like farmers markets, picnics, strolls around town, etc. Not only is it adorable, but it’s also incredibly comfortable and breezy. What more could you want for a warm day? Take this casual look from day to night by changing out your sneakers for a pair of {comfy} heeled sandals and you’re ready for dinner with friends!
This floral midi skirt is new from Chicwish, and I am obsessed to say the least. It is incredibly comfortable, has an amazing fit thanks to its elastic waist, and it is great quality, complete with lining. I’m wearing a size S-M.

The Dressed Up Midi Skirt

Midi skirts are not only fun to dress down, but they make the perfect effortless, dressy look too! They’re great for the office, date night, and several other occasions. To dress this one up, I paired it with the cutest little crochet lace top and my go-to black heeled sandals. Almost any solid colored blouse would be perfect to dress up a printed midi like this one! Throw on a fun blazer to make it more office-appropriate!
This white lace top is also from Chicwish! I’m wearing a size S-M. Guys, they have some of the CUTEST spring and summer things right now from tops and dresses to skirts and even denim. If you’re looking for wedding guest or even bride-to-be outfits, I highly recommend heading to their website!

Which look is your favorite? Let me know in the comments! As always, thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you all have a wonderful first day of Spring!

Love that you styled your skirt in two such different manners. The second one is my favorite, because my style leans more towards flirty and feminine- but both are really good ways to wear it!
