The other day on Instagram stories, I posted a style poll that I love to put out there each season, and one thing that you guys said you’re shopping for is sweaters! Which I expected, but you just never know. I was actually shocked though at how many of you said it. The majority of you also said you start shopping for fall in September. One of my most loved posts of all time (thanks Pinterest) is my H&M fall sweater roundup from last year, and because of that, I thought I would create an updated version for 2019! Keep scrolling for 15 of my favorites + how I styled one of mine!

What’s to Love About H&M Sweaters
H&M seriously has some of the best sweaters for the coming season, and the best part is they’re SO affordable. All of the sweaters I’ve chosen are under $50! H&M has everything from all of the trendy animal prints to lightweight neutral knits and even sweater dresses, so there’s literally something for everyone. I love that they now have a conscious collection (sustainable fashion) and a premium collection if you want something a little fancier like cashmere or silk. They’ve also totally redone their sizing so things fit very true to size now!

About My Outfit
My first sweater purchase of the season is this fine knit option in the prettiest teal color. I got this same one last year in a rust color that I can’t wait to wear. I love this sweater because it’s SO lightweight and perfect for all my girls living in the southern states that don’t actually see cooler temps until November/December. Pair it with shorts or a pair of faux leather leggings if you’re like me and want to pretend it’s fall out haha. I’m wearing a size small in this one. The length is great if you like having the option of wearing your sweaters with leggings.
My coat is from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and it might be one of my favorite purchases. It looks like it would be really heavy and hot, but it’s actually very lightweight. Again, perfect if you live somewhere that never gets very cold, but you’d still like to wear a coat. It comes in 4 great color options and has an oversized fit that is to die for. I am wearing a size 6. I went up a size because the Topshop brand tends to run a little small.
