Take a second and think about the items in your closet. The thing(s) that you reach for most often. Did one or two items come to mind immediately? If you’re like me, you probably just thought of that item you may or may not be embarrassed to admit you wear at least 3 days a week. For me, that is this Amazon top that I’m about to convince you you also need in your life haha.
I’ll be the first to admit, I’m not a big Amazon shopper if we’re talking clothing. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE to find some of the most random goodies that Amazon has to offer and happily hand over my hard-earned money. But for some reason I have this preconceived notion that every piece of “cheap” clothing on Amazon is in fact…cheap. You get what you pay for most of the time, right? Not only that, but there is just SO much to sift through when it comes to Amazon fashion, that it gives me anxiety just thinking about it.
BUT THEN, I came across this top…
So I actually came across this top thanks to my all-time favorite blogger, Becky from @cellajaneblog. Everything looks perfect on her, so at first I didn’t really pay much attention to it. And I honestly assumed I couldn’t afford it. After seeing her wear it a few different times, I decided to check it out. I was shocked to find out it came from Amazon. And not only that, it came in SO many colors and it was only $23.
What’s So Special About This Amazon Top?
Literally everything. I was initially drawn to the top because of the texture. I love a good ribbed knit, and friend, this one does not disappoint. It is so incredibly soft and perfect for the coming months as it starts to cool off. The material will keep you warm, but won’t make you hot, which I love. (Shoutout to all my readers who live in the south but still like to dress like it’s winter.) It’s super stretchy, and can even be worn off the shoulder if you like.
I’ve already mentioned the fact that it comes in a variety of great colors, and of course, you can’t beat the price. Aside from all of those things, I think what makes me love it so much is 1. it looks expensive and 2. it can be styled all kinds of ways. I’ve worn it with biker shorts, jeans, and a pleated skirt for church just to name a few.
About the Fit
This top comes in one size, which I know scares some people, but because of the oversized design and stretch of the fabric, it should actually fit a majority of body types. The hem consists of a super stretchy, but fitted portion which makes it great for tucking into jeans. It also makes it super easy to tuck under to create a blouson, oversized look like in the photos of the pleated skirt. The sleeves are long with a batwing design, but can easily be pushed up if you start to get warm or just prefer the look of a poofy, bubble sleeve. Literally so many different ways to wear it!
