Well hello there friend! It seems like it has been a while since my last blog post, but if you’ve been following on instagram, you know life has been crazy lately. Not only that, but the weather has been a rainy mess. Which puts a real damper on my mood and kills my motivation in a big way. As much as I personally love winter, I wouldn’t be upset to see a few warm and sunny days around here. So in the spirit of ushering in spring, I thought I would share one of my new favorite skirts + how I’ve created 3 fun transitional spring outfits with it!
You have probably gathered by now that a hobby of mine is wearing things as many ways as possible. Well, lucky for me, I’ve found the most versatile skirt EVER and I can’t wait to show you all the fun ways I’m wearing it into the spring months. I love the color palette on this skirt so much. Of course, it’s black (my fav) but it has a great little floral print that isn’t loud or overpowering. I really feel like you could wear this skirt 75% of the year too, which is such a win in my book.

Paired with a Casual Sweatshirt
This look might be my favorite of the 3. I would be lying if I said I hadn’t already worn this exact outfit a few times. Adding a cozy sweatshirt instantly dresses down the midi skirt. It also makes it the perfect transitional spring outfit because it’ll keep you warm during those chilly mornings! This sweatshirt is a new favorite btw. It is SO soft. Like I wish you could feel it through the screen because it’s that good. I threw on my go-to platform sneaker to dress it down even more + make it comfy for all day wear if you so please! Pro-Tip: go for a platform sneaker this spring to give you a little lift without the uncomfortable heel!

Paired with a Striped Tee + Denim Jacket
The mother of all transitional spring outfits. This look is SO fun for a warm, sunny weekend! I absolutely love mixing patterns when I can, and the small print on this skirt makes it so easy to do. I paired it with a striped tee that is an absolute wardrobe staple. A denim jacket is also a must when transitioning your wardrobe to spring. Light layers will save you when the temps go from one extreme to another. Plus they’re just really cute and they go with literally anything. This is another pretty casual look, so again, I chose to wear my trusty white sneaker! You could also choose a fun sandal or mule for this outfit if you’d like.

Paired with a Bodysuit + Leather Jacket
This is such a cute date night or wear-to-work outfit! I actually wore this for Valentine’s Day and I have to say, I’m pretty obsessed. I never was a huge bodysuit lover until I came across this one. But the puff sleeve (and let’s be real, the amount of coverage) had me sold. Then I saw that it was only $10 and wished it came in like 10 colors. Bodysuits like this one are so great if you’re like me and tend to tuck in 90% of your tops. Makes life so much easier. I chose to pair my heeled booties with this outfit, but I also love it with a black or white heel. And of course, couldn’t forget my favorite leather jacket for an added layer!
