The road to this point has been anything but normal.
I’m an Air Force wife, self-proclaimed style junkie, professional retail therapist, lover of Jesus and also Chick-Fil-a. Oh, and a personal stylist!
Style Worthy began back in 2017 as a way for me to share my personal style and to connect with other military spouses. Before that, I was working a corporate job, but after a couple of years, I realized that was not the career path for me. The cutthroat environment and lack of freedom (creative and otherwise) was not how I wanted to live my life. But I also couldn’t really imagine not working an 8-5 job or wearing business attire either. Then something just clicked one day. It was my AH-HA moment. I realized I was working for someone else’s dream, not my own. So I took a major risk and quit my job to try and figure out what I was really supposed to do with my life.
I started a blog, thinking I had found my “thing.” Building a website was like a puzzle for me, and so was trying to figure out social media marketing. It was a challenge with all of the creative freedom I could hope for. I loved getting to share my style more than anything. I blogged full time for about 2 years when I realized something was still missing. Besides a consistent paycheck.
After spending some time in prayer and really trying to focus on my purpose, I decided I’d always known what I was really meant to do and what I was really good at: Styling. There is nothing quite like seeing someone realize that their clothes can actually work for them and not against them. That they are worthy of being seen and feeling confident in their skin. So that’s what Style Worthy is today. My mission is to inspire confidence in all women through attainable style, while helping them build a wardrobe that brings JOY and simplicity to their lives.
